LUCILE-MEISEL Songwriting Session Summer 2023

Creativity and intensive collaboration were the focus of this year’s LUCILE-MEISEL Songwriting Session Summer 2023 at the legendary Hansa Studios in Berlin. Over the course of three days at the end of August, 20 renowned authors from the German-language music scene came together to work on new songs in a creative exchange with the artists Sarah Zucker, Saskia Leppin and Stefan Mross.

This year’s session was attended by the songwriters Anja Krabbe, Sotiria Schenk, Tanja Lasch, André Stade, Bernhard Wittgruber, Tobias Witte, Julian Neumann, Benjamin Schwenen, Jens Lücking (Hens Hensen), Mathias Roska, Benjamin Brümmer, Filippo Grasso, Dominik Gassner, Alexander Scholz, Kurt Schoger, Justin Balk, Terence Olivier, Julian Reim, Olaf Bossi and Torben Klein.

All the artists were personally involved in the creation process of the new songs. Some of the titles were sung directly. In three days, 17 new tracks were created, some of which will be featured on the artists’ new albums. On 1 September, all participants enjoyed the traditional Meisel-Hoffest with over 250 guests as the conclusion of the successful session.
